Dear Sir/Madam,
Request for Sponsorship
I am writing on behalf of postgraduate students of Problem Solving Formalisms for IT (SYS702) who are organizing an event with the theme “IS and IT Going Green Carnival”. The objective of this event is to create awareness regarding the meaning and importance of “IS and IT Going Green” and also encouraging individuals and organizations in applying the concept. We are targeting around 500 to 700 people to attend this carnival.
The event will be held on 25th March 2010 (Thursday) at 8.00AM until 5.00PM. In order to make this successful, we would be grateful if your company can be one of the sponsors for this event. The sponsorship can be in monetary terms, products or by being one of the exhibitors at the booths that will be open for the whole day. In return for your valuable sponsorship, your company name and logo will be highlighted throughout the event’s promotional materials and announcements. We are promoting the event by having banners and flyers distributed to public and there is also a plan to print the logos of the sponsors on t-shirts.
Together with this letter is the proposal for our event (if any). If you would like to make a contribution, please fill in the sponsor form (if there’s any) / please reply this letter with your company’s letterhead by (put in dateline).
You can reach me at phone number/email or my team ___________ at ______________ if you have any inquiries. We look forward in having your company to support for this event. Thank you for considering our request / proposal (if attached).
Yours respectfully,
